Short chopsticks - handmade birch octagonalTomokazu Furui
These octagonal profile chopsticks are made by Japanese woodworker Tomokazu Furui. Their serene, peaceful beauty comes from the simplicity of their forms.
These chopsticks are easy to hold, thanks to their octagonal shape, which also enables them to catch the light attractively.
The surface is double coated with a penetrating coat, then vegetable oil finished in order to improve the chopsticks' strength and durability. The coatings also make the chopsticks' surface pleasantly smooth to the touch.
These chopsticks are also available in a longer size of 23cm, which suits larger hands. Buy both sizes to have a matching "His and Hers" set.
Mr Tomokazu carefully chooses the right materials and the correct part of the tree for his products. These careful choices enable the chopsticks to be used for a long time.
Approximate Size: Length: 21cm (8.3")
Care: Avoid long periods of direct sunshine. Hand washing with soap, sponge and lukewarm water is recommended. After washing, wipe water immediately and air dry naturally. If the wood becomes too dry, you can oil the surface with any natural vegetable or nut oil, then pat dry. Do not use in microwave or dishwasher.
Note: Size, shape, color may slightly differ from the actual product, as it is made by hand. Each product is unique and will slightly differ from the photo.
