This round bowl has a chic, stylish look and is made by the Japanese potter Satoko Suzuki. The surface has a beautiful brushed slip coating in dark blue-gray on rough red clay. The shape of the bowl and its slightly rough texture make it very comfortable to hold.

It is such a beautiful object that you may wish to display it on its own, as well as enjoying it for everyday use.

You can see the brush strokes on the bowl's surface. These uneven brush strokes are an integral part of its natural, hand made appeal. This simple bowl has a multitude of uses - from drinking café au lait, to serving ice cream, rice or fruit.

The potter Satoko Suzuki makes the best use of natural red clay's color and texture in her ceramics. She uses a different color for the slip coating in order to retain the clay's natural beauty. Her ceramics' shape and size are designed for everyday use.

Approximate Size: Diameter: 12cm (4.7") Height: 7cm (2.8")
