This beautiful walnut butter dish, along with its butter knife made from camellia wood, has a beautiful and practical shape. It is made by the Japanese woodworker Tomokazu Furui.

The case holds a block of butter perfectly and comes with a wooden butter knife. The case's surface is smoothed by hand. The outside surface of the case is double coated with a penetrating coat, then vegetable oil finished in order to improve the case's strength and durability.

The butter oil will help to naturally preserve and maintain the wood for a very long time. You can keep the butter case and knife in a fridge. The beautiful dark, natural color of the walnut brings a warm feeling to your table.

Mr Tomokazu carefully chooses the right materials and the correct part of the tree for his products. These careful choices enable the butter case & knife to be used for a long time.

Material: Walnut (Case) / Camellia (Knife)

Approximate Size: Case Length: 15cm (5.9") Width: 9cm (3.5") Height (including lid): 5cm (2") / Knife Length: 15.5cm (6.1")

Care: Avoid long periods of direct sunshine. Hand washing with soap, sponge and lukewarm water is recommended. After washing, wipe water immediately and air dry naturally. If the wood becomes too dry, you can oil the surface with any natural vegetable or nut oil, then pat dry. Do not use in microwave or dishwasher.

Note: Size, shape, color may slightly differ from the actual product, as it is made by hand. Each product is unique and will slightly differ from the photo.
