Mug in "Kohiki" matt finish
Katsufumi BabaThis mug has a beautiful "Kohiki" matt finish made by Japanese potter Katsufumi Baba. "Kohiki" is a traditional decorating method. It involves dipping the mug into a white "slip" or suspension of clay in water, resulting a natural appearance. Each mug surface has its own unique glazing effects, thanks to being a hand made product.
The matt glaze gives this mug a naturally warm look, which brings relaxed comfort to your coffee break or tea time. There are two matt glazed teapots, with either a pewter or wood handle. Either one of the teapots can be combined with the mug to create a perfect tea set.
