While there is no gusset (flat base), you can easily fit a notebook PC (photo is 13-inch MacBook), or an iPad and other small things like parcels inside. The zip is stable and has a vintage look. It is made from brass and is reproduced from a vintage 1940's and 1950's fastener. The leather is stitched with waxed linen thread.
